Our taproom is busier than we ever expected! Becoming acquainted with new people, hearing about their lives, and developing friendships has brought us unexpected joy.
We continue to focus on local sources for our ingredients: our own honey, elderflowers, apples, gooseberries, elderberries, and currants as well as aronia berries from Tim Tammen’s farm in Danforth, pumpkins from Wildcreek Farm in Milford, and specialty grains from Indiana.
Artesia is the only brewery in our two-county area (and food trucks are scarce), but with the help of Coffee and Friends from Paxton, 11 Bravo from Milford, Monster Grilled Cheese from Piper City, and Horsch Radish from Gibson City, we have managed to consistently have food available during our open hours.
An impressive assortment of talented musicians continues to provide our customers with live music every weekend, and we welcome the return of outdoor performances by the Painkillers Blues Band on the first Saturday of each month now that the warm weather has returned.
Stop by the farm, sit outside and watch the sunset as you listen to good music, eat good food, and drink good beer.
